Our Beliefs
At Lighthouse Church, we stand on a bedrock of core beliefs that guide our worship, service, and journey with Christ. These truths, rooted in the Apostolic Faith tradition, illuminate our path and bind us together as a community of believers.
We believe in the one true God, who has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). We acknowledge Jesus Christ as our Savior and the only way to salvation (Acts 4:12).
We believe in the infallibility and divine inspiration of the Holy Scriptures (2 Timothy 3:16), which guide us in our faith and practice. These Scriptures teach us about the plan of salvation, the importance of baptism in Jesus' name for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38), and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues (Acts 2:4).
As apostolic believers, we strive to live holy and separated lives, following the example set by Jesus Christ (1 Peter 1:15-16). We believe in the power of prayer (James 5:16), and we seek to experience the life-changing work of the Holy Spirit in our daily walk with God (Galatians 5:22-23).
Our church family is committed to spreading the gospel message (Mark 16:15) and making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19). We believe in the importance of evangelism, missions, and reaching out to our community with compassion and love (Matthew 25:35-36).
At Lighthouse Apostolic Church, we embrace and celebrate the rich heritage of the apostolic faith, while being open to the leading of the Holy Spirit in our present-day worship and ministry (John 16:13). We welcome all who seek a deeper relationship with God and a community of believers who will walk alongside them on their spiritual journey (Romans 15:7).
